Our business deals in refurbished furniture items, including but not limited to sofas, chairs, tables, wardrobes, beds and other similar products.
Nature of products
Our products are refurbished furniture items, which may show minor signs of previous use, wear or repairs that do not affect core functionality or structural integrity. Such reasonable cosmetic variations are inherent to refurbished furniture and are normal for this category of products.
Delivery by third‑party partners
All deliveries are handled by independent third‑party logistics and courier partners and not by Sonars Refurbish Pvt Ltd.
Once the product is handed over to the delivery partner and leaves our premises, the risk and responsibility for transit, handling and delivery lie with the third‑party logistics provider and/or the customer as per the applicable shipping terms.
Any damage, loss or issue occurring during transit (including damage caused by mishandling by delivery personnel, transport accidents, weather, improper stacking or delay) is not covered by Sonars Refurbish Pvt Ltd for refund or replacement purposes.
Customers are advised to carefully inspect the outer packaging and product (as practically possible) at the time of delivery and immediately raise any complaint directly with the delivery partner if visible transit damage is noticed.
Eligibility for returns and refunds
Subject to the above, a product may be eligible for return or replacement only under the following conditions, which must clearly be attributable to Sonars Refurbish Pvt Ltd before dispatch and not caused during transit or handling by third parties:
The item received is significantly different from the description or images provided on the website (for example, wrong product, wrong size, wrong color or wrong design compared to the order).
The item has a major functional defect that affects its normal use, and such defect is not caused by transit damage, mishandling after delivery or improper usage.
Conditions for eligibility:
You must notify us within 2 days of delivery via email to info@sonarsrefurbish.com with your order details and clear photos and/or videos showing the issue.
The product must be unused (beyond basic inspection), in the same condition as received, and with all parts and accessories.
The item must not be further damaged, altered, repaired or modified by you or any third party.
Non‑returnable and non‑refundable cases
Returns, replacements or refunds will not be accepted in the following situations:
Any damage, breakage or defect that occurs during transit, transport or handling by third‑party delivery partners.
Minor cosmetic imperfections, marks, color variations or signs of refurbishment that are normal for refurbished furniture or were disclosed or reasonably visible in photos or description.
Damage caused after delivery due to improper handling, mishandling, misuse, exposure to moisture or heat, incorrect installation, or use contrary to instructions.
Customized or made‑to‑order furniture based on your specific measurements, fabrics, colors or design choices, unless there is a clear mismatch from the confirmed specifications that is not related to transit damage.

Inspection and approval process
Once a valid return/refund request is raised within the stipulated time:
Our team may request additional photos/videos or, where feasible, arrange an inspection to verify the issue.
After review, we will decide whether the request qualifies for return/refund under this Policy (i.e., issue attributable to us and not to transit or third‑party handling).
If approved, we will communicate the resolution and, where applicable, the process for product pickup or further steps.
Types of resolutions
If the issue is approved as eligible under this Policy, one or more of the following resolutions may be offered at our discretion:
Repair of the item at no additional cost, where practical and acceptable to you.
Replacement of the same or a similar refurbished furniture item, subject to availability.
Full or partial refund, depending on the nature and extent of the issue, to the original mode of payment wherever possible.
Refund timelines and method
Once a refund is approved and processed, it typically takes 5–7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
For certain payment methods, refunds may be issued via bank transfer, UPI or store credit, and the same will be communicated at the time of resolution.
Order cancellation
You may request cancellation of your order before it has been dispatched from our premises by sending an email to info@sonarsrefurbish.com with your order details.
Once the order is packed and handed over to the third‑party delivery partner, cancellation may not be possible; in such cases, this Policy on returns and refunds will apply.
Sonars Refurbish Pvt Ltd reserves the right to cancel any order in case of product unavailability, payment issues, errors in pricing or listing, or suspected fraudulent activity; in such cases, any amount paid by you will be refunded.
Shipping for approved returns (if any)
